Alyssa earned a BA degree in Business Administration from Fairmont State University. Motivated by her love of the beauty industry, she became a managing manicurist in 1994. After 20+ years in the industry, she committed to launch Studio Bliss following a commission based model rather than booth rental. The model choice enables a level of customer service not possible with booth rental. If you care to learn more, find a comfortable seat, then ask her for details.
Alyssa is a strong proponent of continuing education including in-house cross training, professional on-site vendor classes, topped-off with travel to industry shows such as the Nashville Fashion Focus and Chicago’s American Beauty Show. There hundreds of vendors showcase their products, and the top fashion experts demonstrate their techniques. Staying abreast of industry styles and trends is not only critical to business growth but also provides a career path for staff members.
